Tom...probably more closely related than we realize because both use the same GMAD format (by 1973), to document broadcast codes, RPOs and schedule data. When you get time, scour that Corvette Buildsheet Book and find the references that crossover from Chevelle to Corvette of that period. What assembly plant and would love to see a copy! By 1972, all seven Chevelle plants had transitioned to the GMAD landscape style manifest. The Chevelle people would be intrigued as well.
I have had Pontiac Trans Am folks buy the book because they realize Corvette St Louis plant used the GMAD manifest as did Pontiac. It helps them understand those codes documented on the GMAD landscape style buildsheet.
