I just saw a video on u tube of Zoras only owned Corvette. The title is still in his name and the car has 35K on its clock. Does anyone know the cars history. It only sold for $27,000. That almost sounds like and insult to such and Icon as Zora when cars that Shelby had little or nothing to do with are selling for four times as much. What am I missing here?

Re: Zoras 89 corvette
I have to disagree. Vette-N-Vestments prices a 89 rag top in show ready condition at 24,500. A challenge race adds and additional 20,000. Surely the Godfather of the corvette personal car should be worth more than a standard well kept 89 ragtop or more than a challange car.- Top

Re: Zoras 89 corvette
I can tell you this for a fact. I'm not seeing any 89 convertibles in the 24500.00 range out here in the real world. I've been in it for a long time.I do think the Zora car would bring a pretty good premium.

And that was probably after the buyer had a few too many free cocktails at the bidders bar. LOL65 350 TI CONV 67 J56 435 CONV,67,390/AIR CONV,70 454/air CONV,

Re: Zoras 89 corvette
I think part of the problem was it was sold at the Russo and Steele auction. If it was at B.J car it would of brought triple the price. I understand Zoras autograph alone sells for $50.00 and up. I dont know how true this is but I heard Shelby got $500.00 for his?- Top

As Dick said, the car was "well sold". I'll explain what that means if you wish me to.- Top
