'67 Fiberglass cutout for front bumper support

Owned my '67 for 43 years but tree mishap required replacement fiberglass front. NCRS regional judging deducted for "no cutout for front bumper support". I understand this cutout was on '67 only. I want to correct for National Convention. Please . . . member with '67, measure (R or L) cutout - I need 3 numbers: Width (side to side), depth (fwd from back edge of fiberglass) and radius in corners (perhaps see what dia drill bit fits).
Thanks. We'll be driving to VA starting Sat.

Are you talking about the reliefs in the lower valence for the brackets that run from the frame to the bumpers?

I don't believe that this cutout is a 67 only, but a big block only. I was with Bill Clupper and Mike McCagh at Mike's house when it was discovered that it seem to appear only on BB with virgin glass. My 67 427/390 had it. Years ago Corvette Mike had a no hit sb with it. It made me question the "No Hit" of his car.

Yes, center bumper supports are black hat channels ~ 2 Ft long & approx 8" out from centerline. I'm told fiberglass below grill is notched out on '67 only. I need dimensions of cut out.

Should the cuts be done crudely like the above photo

Not to long along ago there was a detailed discussion about the C2 Front valance cut outs.
Can't find it right now, but I think John Hinckley was involved in the posts.

Been trying to reply to this thread but my computer keeps locking up when I try to attach pictures.......

My Feb '67 built 427/390HP A/C car only has a cutout on the passenger side. It's no-hit with original paint so I'm pretty sure it hasn't been messed with (at least with a cursory inspection). The cutout is very neat and follows the recessed area lines.

If I can figure out the problem with me posting pics maybe you'll get a visual to go along with this info... Charlie

The cut-out is on my July build date '66 and I have a L79, so it's not '67 only and it's not big block only.

A photo of my 67 BB cutout on the passenger side top view. Dimensions: approximately 2.5" wide at inner side. 3.5" at open side. 3/4" deep. 1/2" dia corners. Edges are NOT raw/rough. Appear to be "molded/finished" edges.

The cutout is on all '66-'67, passenger side only, and looks like the photo below.

                            My April-built 66 has the cut-out as well. It's an L79.

Adding my two cents may not help but the above pictures in some posts don't either. So beware as there are non-original fiberglass in some of the pics. Non-original as it didn't come from GM but from Jim Sermersheim's to be exact!
