    Ara,
I could not agree more with you. Everyone has been amazingly helpful. I was fortunate enough to get Top Flight in Lake Tahoe last month and I am trying to fine tune the car. My wife and I have had a great time in Tahoe and we met some great people. Hope to talk again with you in the near future.

This might explain some clamp and hose fitting variations.

I have the correct #10 wittek 427 bypass clamps for my car. However is a hex head slotted machine screw correct or a fillister head screw correct. New 6th edition manual page 141 speakers of a hex head fillister slot screw head. Think last edition referred to a fillister head screw as correct.

What about a Whittek tower clamp(s) on the bypass hose for model year 1967? I believe they were used in production, on at least some units. Anybody else have an opinion on that?

No the correct clamp is a side screw model made by Wittek of Chicago. My question was what screw is correct.

Are you sure a tower clamp was never used in that position?
