    Air Cleaner 1959

    My car is totally stock, I have the correct carb and air cleaner, but it never sat level on the carb, it is leaning a little forward not level, is that correct?

      What is it hitting on to make it lean forward? Pictures would probably help. Is the carb sitting level?

          Is it rubbing up against the ignition shielding? Stock tires and wheels? Air shocks?

              The bottom of the air cleaner has indentations for the WCFB carb (assume you are using the correct WCFB carb) and there is only 1 correct position for it to fit in relation to the choke and other moving parts. Take a look and see if that is your problem. Dan
