How to keep bugs off the vehicle in the Summer w/o harming the paint.

    Wizard makes a product called Bug Release. Spray in on any surface material including lacquer, wait 30 seconds and wipe it and the bugs off. Very little elbow grease required. And, if you're nervous about using it on lacquer, squirt a little water or Mist-N-Shine on after the bugs are gone. Works better than and costs less than Griots.

        Sorry for the delay in responding.

        When I did this back in 2011 it was called 3M Paint Protection Film. Today they call it Scotchgard Paint Protection Film.

          Try this if you get bugs on your car. I learned this from the Southeast Chapter Newsletter. Take a "Bounce" fabric softer sheet and apply you favorite car wash, wet, and then proceed to wash that area. Works like a charm.
