The current value of those mags is 1/2 a penny per pound at a paper recycling plant.

IIRC the color code for Chartreuse was 41 (???). When I got the early ordering info and rpo sheets to order my '77, which I did August 6, 1976 at noon, Chartreuse was available but black was not yet listed. It was at Milford late summer'76. Steve

My buddy has a very large collection of old automobile magazines. Last year we went to the Pure Stock Muscle Car Shoot Out at the Mid-Michigan Motorplex in Stanton, Michigan. He took along a number of old magazines with road test reports. We would walk up to various racers and offer a late 50s/early 60s car mag with a car test report on his/her race car. At first they would think that we were selling the mags but were very appreciative to have an original road test on their muscle car for free! It was a good way to reduce the magazine collection.

As Dave said the early ones are collectable. I save the later ones with the Factory Facts section as reference. At one time Vette Vues offered free floppy disk reference of all the Factory Fact articles.
