Jerry Fuccillo made a setting tool that works fine, used on my 64 top shield front grounding clip.

Any chance of someone finding out what Jerry Fuccillo's rivet setting tool looks like? I need to replace the ground clip on two ignition shields, one big block and one smaal block.

Well, I now have 100 zinc plated rivets. Very magnetic. They look good. Too good. Like chrome. Thinking about just putting them in, as is, without changing to chrome plating. Unfortunately our crack judges (some of whom are reading this thread and have asked for samples) will now be aware of my laziness and therefore, will not be fooled by my faux chrome, thus will proceed to deduct for rivet plating in July. So, we will have a delay while we send these to my plater, who, by the way thinks I'm nuts for chrome plating rivets....oh well

Mike, Now I know you won't do this but if you polish the zinc heads on your buffing wheel they will shine just like chrome in a second. But you have gone this far so do it right. JD

OK, I'm about to start practicing rivet installation. I need to know what a typical installation looked like. The photo below is a collapsed rivet from a repop shield I have. Is this similar to the way originals looked? Thanks

Here is an original from an early 65 (may be sooner however nobody knows)
The diameter of the washer (what appears to be anyways) is 0.356"
