I have been looking around for a set of 67 clear NOS floor mats.Does anybody know where a pair may be located for purchase???

Not certain that you will find NOS.......at least not CLEAR ones. If they exist, they are probably aged/yellow by now.

Clear reproductions exist and can be purchased from a number of Corvette suppliers.

Just a question, did the Origional "over the counter" GM clear mats have nubs on the back to help them stay in place? I remember buying a set back in 1971 & I seem to remember nubs. The current repo's don't & continue to slip around especially when you get in the car. I think TMC made the first repos without the nubs about 25 years ago?

barry: i have 6 or 8 pair of original(dealer installed) yellowish c-2 floor mats that were present when i bought the cars in the 70's and 80's. i'm certain they are real dealer mats. none have tits on their backside to prevent movement. they are considerably less flexible than the repos and stay in place better than the repos. however, they will move about. mike

Most all, if not all, original Dealer installed floormats have an embossed part number on the underside near the edge close to the seat when installed.

TMC floor mats do not have this number even though they may appear to be equally aged by appearing yellow.

Aren't repros a thinner material than the originals? (lighter weight)

James: i got out all my floor mats and i learned something today. you're right on, as on the backside of the left side mats is embossed RPM 1713 and on the right side mats is RPM 1714. thanks for the enlightment. regards,mike

Well now you guys are going to make me look at my 1970 mats, even though this is a C2 thread.

Mine must be unusual. I have a Left and a right -- not two rights.
