Have you checked with the Texas Chapter? I know they have some members that do work but I have no idea where they are. Don H.

      George,

You might check with Dan Martin 210-422-5961

Otherwise it's Gary Summerville south of Houston who would be the closest.

Talked with Gary and and Dan. Gary thought it sounded like a distributor problem.
I changed or distributors and viola, runs almost perfect.
        Thanks,
        George

More fuel injection complaints are in fact electrical as seen by George Wright's issue. Glad you found the problem George.

Notice Georges first photo showing a really broken/destroyed black plastic nozzle block. Reason it broke is quite evident. The 1/4" bolt that holds the nozzzles and nozzles blocks on is really cranked down.
You should be able to slip a business card in between the cadmium plated H shaped nozzle retainer and the black plastic nozzle block. Don't worry about how many thousands of an inch clearance. Just be able to see daylight between the center of the nozzle block and the steel retainer.

When you take the nozzle block off the H shaped retainer is bowed. When you go to re-assemble turn the bow up like you were a carpenter working with bowed lumber.
Last of all don't over tighten the nozzle blocks as the brass bottoms of the block will break/split.
