I have NEVER done this type of job before, I can tell you I was pleased with the results. and I was in no way rushed to do it, So I made sure the I painted the frame, replaced all w/strips and adjusted the windows to seal properly. And as it was posted there really are not alot of people around that have the know how of experience, so there maybe some sub par jobs done on the tops.

Also, Al Konch does put the step by step instrutions and measurements of the bows in the box with top materials.
Thanks, Edward. Of the quality tops on the market do any other vendors put instructions and measurements with their new tops?

Scott, I really don't know if they other venders do the same, All I know is that everyone here on the TDB used his tops because of correctness. I know the I asked Al K. to be sure that it was a NCRS correct for judging for my C-2 as there are also a few different cuts that he makes, Kennedy cut gives you a little extra material to work with. Which is a good Idea. Also I had read alot of the life of other manufactors of tops ( not good). So you may have a to spend a little extra for his top, but can be sure that it will last.

I also think Mike has a good choice of color a tan top will look great on the green car, Black tends to draw the heat in the summer if the tops up.

        D. Scott the Al Knoch Interiors will be in Dallas the end of September for a show. If you contact Al Knoch now, you might be able to secure an apointment for their new convertible top installation on your Corvette. Al Knoch did my 68's convertible top in the early 80's in Jackson, MS.
