Do you really need some? If you have trouble finding #1034's, I have a bunch that I took out of my 63 back in 1976 and replaced with #1157's. Believe I got them from some Vette parts vendor in Ohio who now runs "Pro-Team". There weren't many vendors back then.

Harry, See if you can find a auto parts store thats been around forever there maybe a chance they may have some old stock of the old brass base 1034's. You might get lucky and they'll have a box.

Harry, I bought some off of eBay a few months back. They were not cheap.

This is in another post. Essentially the 1034 is correct for the flasher. They will flash slower and dimmer. The 1157 pulls more power and they will flash faster and are brighter.

I have a combimation of 1157 and 2057, lots of erratic flashing.

If you have 1157s in your parking and tail lights, the correct flasher (Signal Stat ZN232 for 58-60, and ZN332 for 61-62) will not work correctly. In my case, the lights wouldn't flash at all. However, Tridon flasher LL552 will work just fine with 1157s. You can buy this LL552 flasher at your FLAPS for around $6. You can swap out the Tridon flasher for the correct flasher after Operations judging and before interior judging.

Not really, just don't swap parts on the Judging Field. I swap all the parts that are normally stolen such as gas cap, oil filler cap, dip stick, etc.

And if it's your own parts I don't see a problem like Harry says...the problem arises when you swap/borrow parts from another members car...that's a no no

Such as the cigar lighter that was judged seven times at a meet. That was the meet that brought the parts swapping rule about. Not that I know anything about the lighter

Just like you don't know anything about extra sets of keys & moving cars around!!!!
