    Pn# 7828875

Can anyone confirm this part number and application for me? I understand that it's a steering coupler, but not sure of this or what year(s) and application(s) it applies to.

Thanks for confirming the identification of the part, Carl. However, I'm also trying to confirm the vehicle application for this part. The seller indicates the (steering coupler - PN 7828875) applies to 70-82 Corvettes. However, I had recently purchased a steering coupler for my '72 (PN 7818658), as I understood it to be the correct part. Assuming I have the correct part, I'm just curious what PN 7828875 applies to).

I can find no record of GM #7828875. I do not think it was ever a finished part number. It's very possible, though, that it is the part number or casting number of a component of an assembly, including, possibly, the L69-82 Corvette coupling assembly. For a SERVICE steering coupling, the assembly part number is usually only found on the box the SERVICE coupling is contained in.
