No emblems of any kind on 1965 L78 Hoods.

You might also watch NCRS "Driveline" ads and place an ad to trade your '67 hood for a '65 (if you want to part with it) ads are free to members. Also if you have time look at the on line newsletters of NCRS Chapters most of which have parts for sale.

Rivets should be round with flat or slightly domed head . not pop type rivets .

That's where I found a real 66 hood for my car.

Two styles of 1966 BB hoods...early and late. My September built '66 has a '65 carryover hood with support on passenger side, later hoods (as we know) were on drivers side. Unsure when transition occured. Dependent on how accurate the hood needs to be Butch could use an early '66 BB hood. Hood would have access holes on underneath side for Corvette hood script but would have passenger side hood support applicable for '65.
