OK a search of archives did not turn up what I 'm looking. On a repo wiring harness at the starter, there is a pink wire, a purple wire, and a black/orange tied together. I know where they go. There is also a small gauge black wire with a large hole round terminal on the end. Does this go on the srarter mounting bolt (which i presume) or on the solenoid battery connection point? Thanks Al

Re: 67 starter wiring
Assuming the 67 is the same as 66, the Dr Rebuild wiring diagrams shows
Pink goes to the 'R' terminal on the solenoid
Orange/Black to the 'B' terminal
Purple to the 'S' terminal
14 gauge black with larger lug goes to Starter Mounting Bolt for ground.
O
n my 66, the ground wire is also a continuation of the ground plug on the blower motor and wiper ground. If this ground wire is not grounded at the starter the blower motor and wiper will not work.
