Source to rebuild / replace internal heater box parts?

The internal sheet metal parts for my 68 heater box is pretty much gone. I have tried to find sources to replace the internals but no luck. Anyone have a resource for repairing the insides of the heater box?

    Thanks again
    Pat

Do you mean the box where the heater core is located? Or the air plenum under the dash on the right side of the car with the swinging doors on the inside?

The actual heater box where the heater core is located. The few sheet metal baffles are in bad condition and rusted through in a couple areas. If possible, I'd like to remove and replace these internals with new sheet metal.

      Thanks

I suggest you look for another box. I'm more familiar with C2's and have never seen those parts reproduced.

Yup. If you want to restore your original heater box you'll need to find another to salvage the internal parts from (or, just use the used heater box as-is).

GM never sold any components of the heater box separately (except the heater core clamp which attached with a screw). I know of no reproduction source for any of the components.

Thanks guys, that's what i figured might be the case since nothing turns up anywhere in my search for parts. On to plan B.

This is a C3 question correct?

Big City seems to carry ducting and such. Maybe they can help.

So, how were these different? I do not know. But, they were different.

Mullikins Corvette in the Spartanburg SC area has many C3 parts. In addition to his existing inventory, he purchased truck loads of parts at the Corvette parts auction we conducted last year.

Thanks for the lead Mark and Dick, I will give Mullikins and Big City a try, thank you.
Joe- I did see on L.I.C. web site the 67 heater box "looks" the closest to the 68. Out of curiosity, do you have a part number on the 67 no-AC heater box?

Are the parts so far gone that they can't be brazed up? The internals in our '76 had some rust as well but I managed to salvage it by fabing up some sheet metal patches, welded and ground them smooth.
