'66 front valance header bar and clips

I'm in the process of restoring a '66 convertible and am now at the front valance header bar (St. Louis body). Can someone confirm the original color/finish of the header bar and the four clips that hold the wiring harness?

    Thanks...Tony

The header bar is black on a St, Louis body.

The clips are green unless by chance they got hit with blackout.

Thanks guys. The four clips that I removed appear to have a rubberized coating over a portion of the clips.

doing research on these clips , coated vs uncoated, please post year and if clips you have were coated or uncoated - also the 63 aim shows 5 clips, 64,65,66,67 AIM show 4 - how many clips do you have

Actual original cars have 4 clips. I come across clips with coating as well as clips with out it. Most of the clips I noted were phosphate plated, also seen green chromate finish. I do not recall the years that each type were on. My guess is GM had multi source suppliers on these parts thus the differences. Maybe someone on this board has the original drawings that define finish and coating.

              Mar64 car - 4 clips coated & all original.
Interesting that those clips are at the head lights to keep the harness away from that mechanism.

To add a little, the early 63's used the same attachment straps as what's used on the inner fenders to hold the wire harness.
