I've just removed my poorly functioning AM/FM wonderbar out of my '67. Now, who do I have rebuild it?
I have had some people recommend Mike Hagan. Mike can't rebuild to original specs because he can't get the germanium transistors.
There is Tony Mac Crutchfield at Crockett Sound Laboratory, D&M restorations...
Mike Hagan says he can make a more modern radio that will look original to all but the most discerning judges.
Original or modernize...?
Any advice from the NCRS community? My ride is no top flight - but I try to keep it as original as possible.
