    '67 Wonder bar Radio Rebuild

I've just removed my poorly functioning AM/FM wonderbar out of my '67. Now, who do I have rebuild it?
I have had some people recommend Mike Hagan. Mike can't rebuild to original specs because he can't get the germanium transistors.

There is Tony Mac Crutchfield at Crockett Sound Laboratory, D&M restorations...

Mike Hagan says he can make a more modern radio that will look original to all but the most discerning judges.

    Original or modernize...?

Any advice from the NCRS community? My ride is no top flight - but I try to keep it as original as possible.

Give Jerry Rudbeck a call. IMHO he's the best. He restored our '67 radio, his work and communication are second to none!

There is none better than Jerry Rudbeck. He's rebuilt 2 radios for me and his work is flawless and he's a NCRS member. Jerry Rudbeck can be reached at 864-363-0947.

Are you sure that it is a wonder bar? That radio was no longer used after '63

I have had several radios repaired by at least four different professionals. Recently, Jerry serviced one for me, he is second to none. He provides the best service and communication that I have ever seen. He also provided the most detailed invoice that I have ever been provided for any type of service.

Jerry is the best, he has done many for me. Have him install an MP3 plug while he is at it, it is hidden and allows use of not only an MP3 player but satellite radio too, very handy.
