I agree that originals (at least on early C3s) were white or ivory but have yellowed with time. And I think Paul is correct about the gray ones. I know that we bought them from GM sometimes in the 1980s and '90s.

I am going to Carlise this week end and will try to find a older looking one with a yellow tint. Thanks again for the help and I hope everyone that goes to Carlise finds what they need. After Carlise I am going to put the finishing touches on the car before the regional at ALtoona in a couple of weeks.

Kevin and I had a convversation this afternoon at Carlisle, and our conclusion is that the original color was closer to white than what we see now. Kind of like how the non-AC windshield washer jug and windshield washer pump were at the beginning of their life.

Just a little off topic: Those of you at Carlisle should not miss the NCRS Gallery put on my the Delaware Valley Chapter in the old garage building right outside gate 1. Elaine & Frank and the rest of the Delaware Valley crew have done their usual great job of gathering 21 or 22 outstanding Corvettes as examples of the different judging catagories. And kudos got to the owners of these cars for bringing them, and sometimes driving them, great distances just for your viewing pleasure.
