    A/C hoses for '69

Hello all! I'm still looking for the length of the suction side hose that goes from the compressor to the POA valve on a '69 small block. I posted this question several times and as yet have not gotten a response so if you can help it would be great. I plan on having my original hose set rebuilt with crimped ends so I need to get a length since mine was shortened many years ago.
    Thanks!
    Jeff

Jeff, I know my hoses are original but it's a '71 small block. I don't know if similar or not but happy to measure mine in the AM if you can use their measurements.

      Michael,
That woud be great! I don't know if the routing of yours is the same as for '69 but I would guess that it is. If you could also take a picture and post it, it would really help.
      Thanks very much!
      Jeff

OK Jeff, here we go. Aluminum end off compressor is at the 4:00 angle and rubber hugs the rear wall of inner fenderwell. She then becomes other metal end which goose-necks down, in towards engine, and up to valve. The exposed rubber portion is 14" between metal fittings. I am unable to get a photo through fender. She is disabled very close to garage wall for current project. Let me know if more is needed. Hope these photos help.

I realize these photos are not the greatest help and the shots you need are through the fender which I cannot provide at this time. Hope my description is helpful.

                Re: A/C hoses for '69

Michael,Thanks very much for the photos and measurement. As it happens, this evening we were having ice cream and a fellow drove in with a '72 A/C car with original hoses. I measured his and it was the same as you indicated (14 "). Just to be sure I understand the routing as you described: the hose goes down from the compressor towards the inner fender. Then goes back up to the POA valve. The '69 has a bracket attached to the inner fender through which the hose passes, holding the hose close to the fender, which later years may not have.

That's correct Jeff. No hose bracket on mine and I don't beleive there ever was. Lower hose end does a 180* upward u-turn and connects to valve.
