'69 A/C hoses again

On July 12 I posted that the big hose from the A/C muffler (small blocK) that runs to the POA valve blew out. While I am replacing this hose, I thought I would also replace the other hose that goes from the expansion valve to the drier. The AIM indicates that the part number 3949930 was added on 10-14-68. This appears to be a hose with the fittings on the end crimped on rather than what is now on my car (and I believe to be original) which has the fittings clamped to a hose as in '68. Since my car was built in Oct '68 I'm thinking that early cars had clamped on ends. Can anyone confirm this? Anyone have an early A/C small block car with these hoses?

I have a 69 built Nov 19, 1968. I can look tonight to confirm, but I think one of the hoses had a crimped on fitting. I did replace the large hose and had to use clamps since there was no acceptable replacement.

Thanks for your help. All of the hoses coming off of the compressor are crimped. Also, if you can, could you take a picture and of these hoses and post here so I can see the routing of the hose that goes to the POA valve?
