Also I am attaching a photo of an intake manifold that has the correct number, according to the Judging Manual, for a 1994 LT1.
You are correct. The "17094047 0784 KMK 1" is stamped on the fuel rail cover of my 10108630 intake. The sticker of the passenger side of my intake is "4047" (short for 17094047).

Isn't the judging manual (94 LT1) incorrect with a 10108476" casting number for intakes on all 1994 LT1's? The fuel rail cover on your 10108476 intake is dated July 19, 1994 ("2004"). Isn't your intake for an "early" 1995 LT1?

    BTW,
My 1993 Camaro/Firebird (F-body) Parts Catalog (Nov. 1992) lists GM # 12518284 as the part number (Not casting number) for the 93F F (LT1).

My 1984-1992 Corvette (Y-body) Parts Catalog (Oct. 1991) lists GM # 10128376 as the part number for the 92 Y (LT1).

GM part numbers are generally not the same as the casting numbers.

1994 & newer GM printed parts catalogs do not exist.

Re: 1994 LT1 Intake Manifold Casting Number

David, for some reason your latest post did not get posted on this forum. I did receive your comments via email.

      To answer your questions.
      1. According to Joe Lucia, who is the fountain of all parts number information, intake manifolds for the 92-93 LT1 had casting numbers of 10108476.

The photo that I had shown previously was only submitted to show where the casting number is located. I do not know the year of Corvette it came off of, it was advertised as a C4 Intake.

Joe also stated that the 94-96 LT1 had casting number 10108630.

The number shown in the 94-96 Judging Manual for the 1994 LT1 of 10108476 very well may have been only for the 92-93 as Joe pointed out. I do not know where and how that number appeared in the Judging Manual.

This is the reason we have reached out for the membership to provide us with what numbers they have on their original Corvettes.

I only follow the comments of the various members on whatever topic comes up on the Forum. If a difference of opinion arises concerning their information and that what is contained in the Judging Manual, I send it along to the National Team Leader. There any decision is made to future corrections or adjustments in the Judging Manual. When I write up my summary to Tom Barr, I will point out the comments by Joe and what is contained in the Judging Manual.

      2. Yes my Corvette is an early 1995 LT1. I have documentation that it was built on August 4, 1994. This was either a first or second day of 1995 Production for Corvettes.

David, thanks again for your input. It all helps.

Re: 1994 LT1 Intake Manifold Casting Number

        Charlie,

I do not own any judging manuals and never will since they remind me of Swiss cheese. I rely on 30+ years of my own research, my 50 or more vintage Chevrolet parts catalogs, my 25 assembly manuals, and other members of the NCRS who are seriously dedicated in determining original parts.

It is possible that early 1994's used the 1992-93 manifold unless there was some functional reason why it would not work for 1994 (i.e. some other engine changes for 1994 that necessitated the 10108630).

Re: 1994 LT1 Intake Manifold Casting Number

Jim, my one owner 96 (mid 19xxx VIN) LT4's fuel rail shows "Made in USA AC Rochester 17095152 1226 KNN 2". The first number is at odds with the manual, which states my number should be 170955191. My date code, 1226, should translate into May 2, 1996, which fits into my early June build date. Hope this helps.
