I just looked at the AIM for the 1964 AC and you are right. The tab that holds the cooler elbow is secured with one screw only so iahve to make the template
like that(the tab goes around the tube and my does not so it is broken)
I will make the tab so it looks like the one marked in red on the picture

That's how mine ('67) looks, and it's the same p/n for 1964-67.

I suspect the template you've drawn in red is correct for '64, but we can't go by the drawing in the 64AIM as definitive, because that same drawing (for the cooling tube elbow) is used in the 1963 AIM too, showing just one screw like all the other AIMs. I'm guessing that the '63 (with its different p/n elbow tube) used two screws, and 1964-67 were all the same and used 1 screw, but I don't know for sure.

SOMEBODY here must know the difference between a 1963 and 1964 cooling tube elbow, and the characteristics of the 1964 cooling tube elbow... if no one around here knows, then who does?

Had another look at the cooler elbow on my car and it is all there but it is broken so Scott was right about the elbow. The broken off part line up perfect to the flange on the tube
Here is the elbow on the fan housing but can the elbow be welded or do i have to make a new one? The elbow is also sitting in the correct position on the blower motor housing on the picture

Scott the "bracket" that is screwed in the other hole close to the cooler elbow is the part on the picture below right?

The bracket on the picture above is the POA valve bracket for a 1967 C2.

Any knows if the bracket marked with a red arrow are reproduced? That is a part i need

I was looking over some parts i have out in the garage and found this light bulb holders
Are the holders for the lights for the AC knobs on the dash? I think the one in the middle is for the clock?

I think you are right. The standard clock bracket is on Section 1 Bolt-Weld, Sheet A9 (1964 AIM). The bulb and Hood Asm. for the non-C60 clock bracket is shown on 1Asm, Sheet A7, and probably mounts the same way on the C60 clock bracket which is called out on Section C60, Sheet E4. The C60 bulbs and LH/RH Hood Assemblies are shown being mounted in the C60 clock bracket on Section C60, Sheet E7.

That should cover the three bulbs on the left in your photo. The second bulb (and shield?) in from the right might be the "Lamp Socket" for the Cigarette Lighter, shown (but not called out) on Section 12, Sheet B4. Not sure about the bulb on the far right.

Scott i have a extra gauge cluster with gauges and i tried to fit the lamp holder on the cigarette lighter and it does

Is the tubes from the evaporator shown with red arrows coned so they do not leak or are you supposed to use any sealant?

I have not installed mine yet, but the tubes on my replacement Evaporator are not "coned", if I understand your meaning. I would guess that using sealant on the Evaporator tube connections is a good idea, but I would want confirmation from someone with experience putting the Evaporator Assembly together before proceeding.

Do you have the 1964 Corvette Shop Manual? It has a few very good quality photos (if you get a vintage copy), and the drawings are much better (mostly the same drawings, just clearer) than in the AIM. The "Heater and Accessories" section is 49 pages long. Pages 1-3 cover the heater, radio & antenna, the remaining 46 pages are ALL about the Air Conditioning system. When the time comes, I expect to read the C60 sections in the early Shop Manuals and the later Chassis Service Manuals, but I haven't gotten to that point yet.

Scott i have both a paper version and a PDF version on my computer but it looks like a lot of the pages you refer to have other page numbers and so
I will compere the one i have on my pc with my paper version

Scott i have the 19664 manual both in a paper version and a PDF version on my pc. The only thing is that it looks like the one i have on my pc does not use the page numbers(some of them at least)as you refer to
I will compare my pc assembly manual to the paper version i have since i have 2 different companys that sold it to me

Claus -

Don't use "page numbers" - each supplier that reproduced the old A.I.M.'s page-numbered their own version, so "page numbers" from one vendor won't match those from another vendor. Instead, use the UPC number and sheet number found in the title block at the bottom of the page; that way two guys with A.I.M.'s from different vendors can communicate with each other and be on the same page.

'63 and '64 had that information spread across the bottom of the sheet, and '65-up had it in the format as shown below.
