I have a smog pump pulley spacer that is too deep for my '69 L46. The spacer measures 1 3/4" in diameter, but is 3/4" deep. Did the early C3s have different depth spacers, or did depths vary depending on the engine? This was advertised as a '68-'72 smog pump pulley spacer when I purchased it.

There were several different spacers used depending upon application and some applications used no spacer. The one for your application was 21/32" thick. All original spacers for 1969 were machined steel and not aluminum. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Smog Pump Pulley Spacer
Joe, as always, you have the answer. I was wondering about the smog pump spacer for my 1970 LT1. Do you happen to know the correct spacer thickness for that application?
Thanks.- Top
