I will be at the last night out, and before that meet Art & Glorie in Half Moon Bay.
The new driver program is not working well. So far I have been unable to find a manual transmission vehicle to rent. Would you believe that in the Chicago area? I wouldn't have, but I am beginning to. There are several other options, but I would prefer not to have to prevail on those.

I heard the plan was to start out at the base of Dennis' driveway and just let Zoe launch the car up the driveway!!!!!

I have to echo the sentiments of Tony Stein and the other NCRS members regarding the recent NCRS NW Regional Judging Meet. A big thanks to Dale and Val Crosby and all of the NW region chapter members for putting on a great judging meet. I accomplished my goal of earning a Top flight award with a C2 that was restored for 30 years ago and without having to use the mileage points that I earned for driving it the 400 miles as a safety net. I was also privileged to get to judge three very nice 1965 Corvette interiors. Tony Stein is correct about Gene Leonard's silver 1965 coupe, it is a beautiful car. Also congrats to Ron Hendrickson who was the only C2 to receive no point deductions for his paint. It was a true C2 lacquer paint job in every way. It wasn't the prettiest but it was a great learning tool for what the judges are actually looking for in a correct appearing paint job. It was great to see old friends and make new ones also. Well done everybody!
