    AIR Diverter Valve

    is the diverter valve in the attached picture the correct one for a 1969 L89? If not can anyone post a picture or link to the correct one/

    The one in your picture may be the correct valve but it is not mounted correctly. The two links below show cars with the correct mounting of the valve:

      The installed configuration would be correct for an L-36 or L-88 but not for an L-68 or L-71. The latter engines used a special adapter to re-orient the installed position of the valve. The adapter, GM #3955222, is not reproduced, difficult-to-find and expensive if you do find one.
