3X2 carb dates- all 3 the same?

If my secondary carbs are both dated 782, is it likely that the primary center carb would have the same date code? I know a range of dates would work, but I am curious if generally all 3 would have been the same.

    Thanks,
    Pat

See the dates all over the board on the few originals I have seen.

Most of the originals I see have both ends dated the same, but the center is always different. I would have to do some looking to tell you if the center is earlier or later than the ends, and it may be, as Dick says -- all over the place.

Patrick. My ends are EU 7A1's and the center is EW 7A4 (Jan 68 build)

Agree -- here's what's on an original late '69 oval port setup I have:
          ends both 951; center 981.

Thanks Guys, I ask because I have a center carb that is the wrong date code and not sure I want to chase a correct one. what is the deduction I should expect for the following center carb: 3940929-EV
            List-4055-1, 001?
I have researched other threads that suggest 3 month window on center carb vs. secondaries- would you still agree?

Not that you asked but, the gaskets in the pic will take a minor deduction.

I think it's the 993rd day of the year, or it could be 1969, ninth month, third week (and second week)

Yes, thanks or the catch, this was one of my rookie mistakes. Now i have what I think is the right one- cork with bits of rubber in both a darker and lighter variation. Some say light, some say dark- I have both now, with the light one in place- Crazy, right?

                      Best,
