72 LT-1 Intake Manifold Bolt Headmarks

The question I seem to get asked most often is, what bolt head marks are on my LT-1 intake, and do they have washers. Here's some pictures to help.

Drivers Side

First two at lift bracket flanged head, no washers "C" grade 5


Center two TR grade 5 w/ thick washer

Rear TR grade 5 w/ thick washer

Last at shield bracket unable to read head mark painted orange no washer

Passenger Side

Front "C" grade 5? w/ washer



Second TR grade 5 w/ washer


Center corroded unable to read w/ washer

Center rear- stud- nut- fuel line bracket - washer-nut

Rear at bracket unable to read head mark painted orange no washer

Last TR grade 5 w/ washer

Kevin, I believe 72 was the only year they used washers on LT1 , My L48 has a (C) head mark on the intake bolts. and the flanged head bolts are AP.

When you put your A.I.R. pump back on, was your forward pass side intake bolt longer, to compensate for the bracket thickness?
