    Re: Battery Disconnect Problem

Clark, what type of disconnect method you use is a personal preference. Both work fine if you know how to use them. I have used the green knob for years and only had trouble one time. The reason was because I turned the green knob too many times to the left to disconnect. After cleaning everyting you might what to try this. When your done with your ride leave a door open and when you turn the green knob look at your dome light. When the dome light goes off you know your on disconnect.

I've used a race car cut off switch mounted too the fame gusset right under the battery box, cutting the negative cable, on my 72 for twenty some years now with no problems. It can be reached while sitting in the drivers seat. Just a tip for the C3 owners out there.
