Does anyone have a photo of the backside of a correctly installed 1100825 61A alternator? My alternator just returned from John Pirkle (outstanding result) and I am about to reinstall it. The rear half of the alternator case was turned 90 degrees when I removed it so I have no reference for how the alternator cable & wire support should be correctly bolted to the alternator. Thanks.

Re: 69 Alternator Photo
John - Many thanks, this is exactly what I need. No need to remove yours but do you happen to know how long the bolt is that secures the wiring harness bracket? Mine is about an inch long and I am concerned that it is longer than it should be. I had a temporary unit installed while mine was being restored. I am concerned that the bolt they removed may not be the one they used to install the temporary unit. It didn't matter on the temporary unit because it was a newer '72 or so that had raised boss so the longer bolt would not have mattered.
Whether you know or not, thanks again for sending the photo. Dennis Wright- Top

Re: 69 Alternator Photo
I believe power steering vs. no power steering makes a difference because BB engines w/ PS had the alternator installed up-side-down.'69 Blue/Blue L36 Vert w/ 4-Spd

Re: 69 Alternator Photo
Thanks again, John. The photo was very helpful and i will get a shorter bolt to be on the safe side.
