Yep, the guy signing the baseball at Post # 39, page 1, is...

….Johnny Podres, left handed starter for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (’53-’66).

Saw him pitch at Dodger Stadium in the 1963 World Series….where he (with the help of Ron Perranoski), Sandy Koufax, and Don Drysdale gave up only four hits in four consecutive games to beat the Yankees. Bitchin’
