I could use help from the Michigan area, I purchased a 68 convertible last year. After contacting previous owners the car spent a few years in the Traverse City area. The question to fellow members is does anyone have knowledge of a Corvette painted with a Star Wars paint scheme back in the 80's. Any information would be appricated.

Many of us will know who the Corvette in the first picture belonged to. If I think real hard, I may recall when the photo was taken -- it was an NCRS event.

He used to do that at the Holiday Inn in Bloomington IL. parking lot.. Remember the yeat the cops raided the van in the same lot & arrested some guys in there for steeling parts at the show. We tried to let then let us take care of them but they said they would be safer in jail. LOL

Yes Ken, on my good days I do remember such goings on -- and more -- at Bloomington.

Upon some reflection though I think that picture Rob posted was taken in Williamsburg -- now I have to remember if it was the Regional or the National. Wished it would have been posted a day earlier when I had access to many of the players here in Tucson.

BTW: Kennow that you are in Arizone how come I didn't see you here?

The reason you didn't see me is because I am in In. I am selling my house here & had to come back. I was signed up to have my 67 435/J-56 conv. judged but I had to go to In. Sorry I missed you.

I looked at the picture again & if my old memory hasn't failed me completely I do think it was at the Holiday Inn or a parking area just like it at Williamsburg. It was in the back corner of the parking lot closest to the fair grounds. I think it was the only tree on that side. I could be wrong though.
