    Big block threaded plugs

What type plug sealed the hole under the fuel pump on a 69 big block? And were the oil galley plugs internal square or allen head?

    Keith-----

Plug below fuel pump was 3/8" NPT, dryseal, and with SQUARE EXTERNAL HEAD.

Oil gallery plugs were SQUARE INTERNAL HEAD.

Thanks Joe. What can you tell me about under the rear main cap?

Yes Joe. I think there is one under the cap kinda like a small freeze plug. When I got my block back I assumed he put all the old stuff in the box that had studds and guidplates from my heads but they are long gone now.

I don't recall any being under the rear cap on a big block.

the only internal plug used in the oil system of a BBC is if you use a external oil cooler to direct the oil flow thru the cooler

Thanks guys. After looking at the cap I guess I must have read a small block thread.
