You can only imagine, when I was 1968-'69 Team Leader , how many arguments that I had with owners/restorers about the smog pumps. They would argue with the TG&JIM and the emissions manual that all the states used at that time. "I know my da***d car did not have a smog system on it when it was new. I am sure Terry had the same problem when he led the 1970-'72 teamDick Whittington- Top

I used to tell the owners "Don't bring a football to a baseball game. It won't go well." That used to impress members of the National Car Cleaning Club a whole lot.
I once saw a T-shirt with the logo: "I have the P*&^y & I make the rules" You should have seen what was stuffed into that T-shirt, but it sums up the idea very well. I don't think that T-shirt would work real well for you & I Dickie. Something might be lost in translation.
Now that I have revealed "How to Handle Owners 101" back to ouur regularly scheduled broadcast.Last edited by Terry M.; February 9, 2012, 03:26 PM.Terry- Top

egg crates on the side are not 1970.
if his lt1 is number 6 then mine is number 5 so mine is better. i got my information from joe chevrolet so it must be real. people will post just about any random thing about their car to make it seem interesting. whatever!- Top
