Re: 1960 Window regulator removal.
Lou, I can't get to my ST-12 (available from the NCRS store if you don't have one) now but the steps are in the Body Section. As I recall when I did my '57 you first have to remove regulator crank, door panel, the access panels, window glass, and the screws holding the regulators to the door and pull them out. It isn't very hard.

Re: 1960 Window regulator removal.
While the ST-12 is helpful I still was not able to get my regulator out and gave up for a later day but I did get the following advice:
Operate the regulator until it is straight. That is, the main arm extends out straight from the body of the gear case part of the device. In this configuration, you should be able to twist it past the center bracing and then bring it out through the large access hole. If you still have trouble, move the arm slightly away from straight and try again. You will get it out.
Hope this helps

Re: 1960 Window regulator removal.
Also, Remember to be extremely careful when it's loose in there.......
There is a very strong spring and if the gears break loose the regulator becomes a pair of scissors!!- Top

Lou
You can also buy the ST-12 right here at the NCRS store. Why not support this instead of some other vendor? As said before, if you are going to work on your C1 Corvette it is a must to have.
