    Water pump pulley for 1967 427/400 with c60 a/c power steering no Air (k19)

    Doe's any one know the correct # that should be stamped in the three groove water pump pulley for a 1967 427/400 with factory a/c and power steering no a.i.r. . I know it is suppose to be a one piece pulley. I have two but I think they are for a later year, possibly a 1968 or 1967 427 .
    the two part#'s I have are 3992071BE and 3889372BF. Actually they are the # stamped in the pulley's .

      The 3889372 is the correct one for your application.

          Joe, thank-you for getting back to me. That is the one that I will install. I will advertise the other one in the Driveline.
          Is the stamped # 3889372BF the same as the part # that was used in the original part's book?

              Yes, the 3889372 was the original part number, both PRODUCTION and SERVICE. GM #3992071 is a pulley used for 1971-74 Corvette big block applications. It won't even work properly for your application unless you also use a 71-74 waterpump with 3/4" pilot shaft and a 71-74 fan clutch with 3/4" pilot hole.
