Do 69 427/390 cars have a steel vacuum advance line?

Do 69 427/390 cars have a steel vacuum advance line?

I am using a rubber hose off the intake. I was told that it was not correct, but cant seem to find a steel line for 390 horse...only for 300,350,400 and 435.

I have factory AC. AIM shows setup with AC showing three way T in manifold with hose running directly to vacuum advance. Calls it Prod spark hose.

I think you will find that the steel tube/hose line running to base of carburetor for vacuum pick up was used on the 4 barrel carburetor without C60, see AIM 6-C1. The Air conditioned BB cars had a different vacuum pick up. The system had an intake off the intake manifold with splitter (see AIM C60-,C8) with the two different fittings shown, the one for power brake having the additional lead. I don't think they had the steel tube on the A/C BB's?? There is also some info (shownig the same plunbing) on this in the Feb 68 Chevy Service News letter for 427's with A/C on page 5. Is your car C60? I see that it is. Sorry this is on the 68. Don't know if the 69 is the same.
