1970 POA cap

On my POA valve there is supposed to be a cap on a threaded stem. Is that cap the same as the ones on the compressor manifold?

from what I remember (80%) it is a aluminum cap, kind of thin walled. It is not the brass cap....

Scott - The cap that I have seen on the POA valve Schrader valve is different from the hex-shaped cap used on the Schrader valve on the on the A/C muffler assembly. The cap on the 67 POA Schrader valve is a brass barrel shaped cap with a flat top and grooves running top to bottom on the sides. I have also seen an identically configured aluminum barrel shaped cap on NOS Frigidaire POA valves. Pete
