    Temp Guage Rebuild Recommendation

I am preparing to send out for rebuild my temp guage on my 54 and wanted to get some "up to date" recommendations from fellow forum members on who they have had good experience with recently.
the car was not running when I purchased it so I have no idea if the unit was working properly or not.
    Would appreciate any solid leads.

I sent mine to Corvette Specialities
Make sure yours has the correct square nut on the temp probe or you can supply the correct one to them to install.

before sending it to brian tillis at corv specialties of maryland(they moved to so cal recently but are still online) , i'd boil a pan of water then imerse the sending unit end of the temp assembly into the bouiling water. if the capillary tube is intact, i'd bet the gauge will work. if not, send it to brian. good luck, mike
