John, The '65 NHRA finals was a memorable day in my life. I worked the starting line that day after working until 2 or 3 am the previous morning helping set up the timing clocks. It was only about 130 degrees or so on the starting line. I got to witness a fuel car split the right side of the block as they brought up the rpms and I also shut down Creitz because of an oil leak. Seems that the drain plug had not been tighten. It was a great experience and a lot to add to my memory.

John, I saw where they saved the Tulsa drag strip. I enjoyed working the points race there this year. I had not been there since 1965 and 1966 World Finals. I see its on our new schedule for the NHRA 2012 points race. I put in for it. Dale

I will be at Bloomington for most of the NHRA Points Race dates. Lets discuss in May. Will you be at Bowling Green for the NHRA HHRR ?
