Bobby Moore of Tulsa has the World's Fastest Corvette. Below are some pictures.
Class records at Bonneville currently held:
268.298 mph AA/GT
253.632 mph A/GT
271.612 mph AA/GMS
259.829 mph A/GMS
254.763 mph A/FMS

The car has been in the National Corvette Museum.

Thanks for posting the thread. It brings to mind a question I've had for some time: Is the C-4 body, when treated to all the best wind tunnel mods, a better high speed platform than say the C-5 or C-6 given the same traetment??

Both are impressive. Only one is worlds fastest. Lingenfelters death was a loss to several areas of the car enthusiast world. Have a great weekend!!!

Thanks! Two motors for various classes. Reher-Morrison injected 572 ci BBC and 479ci. Bobby believes that making new changes allowed by new rule book will add 6-8 mph to all records. Should I post picture of you sitting on guard rail at starting line at first NHRA World Finals in 1965 in Tulsa?

I don't believe that my picture at the 1965 World Finals classifies as NCRS Typical options for that year. Likely loose all of my originally points. Whats the next event for one of your cars?

John, Thanks for posting the Photo of Bobby Moore's Corvette. It is surreal watching a C4 running well over 200 MPH on the salt. There are several other C4 Corvettes also running over 200 MPH at Bonneville.

A few years back Al Phillips from Shell Beach was building one. Not sure where he finished. His wife Gail has been a member of the 200mph club for a long time. She also set records in Australia.

Next event is the Jimmy Nix and Bennie Osborn AA/TF Dragsters at NHRA Holley Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green in June. Bennie will be brought into the NHRA Hall of Fame. Dale, if you show pictures of your 1957 Chev modifications, some in the Cincinnati NCRS might put you on probation, others will put you up for hero!
