Changing PB Booster 1967

OKSo I got my new PB Booster and it looks like a fairly easy swap however how do you reach the bolts under the dash? I have an AC car.

Should not have to access hardware under dash to replace brake booster. Booster is secured to firewall via studs and nuts.

It looks like there are 2 studs that come through the firewall under the dash than need to be bolted. Am I wrong? (I hope)

there are two more that are thru the area where the wiper arm grills are under the lip.

The top two are easy to access, Its the two that bolt through the firewall near the brake pedal that look "challenging"

It is a little "challenging", but isn't that difficult with the right tools. I suggest a socket wrench, the right length extension, and a swivel. Also, some Ben-Gay for your back. I've done it recently and I'm 67 and not much of a mechanic.

Sorry Mark, I missed the fact that you car has a/c. Mine did not and that could make accessing the nuts much more difficult.

With A/C, it will simplify the task if you remove the driver's side lower A/C duct - only takes a couple of minutes. That makes it much easier to get to the two lower nut & washer attachments.

Thanks I will do that, when I looked under the dash I couldn't even find the bolts! I will tackle it tomorrow!
