        When a car is original the window sticker is the certificate of authenticity. We all know what standards the car was built to when the factory built it and we place a value on those standards if they're still present and have not been corrupted.

        When a car is "restored" what are the standards of the shop, training and skill level of its employees and how do those standards compare to factory standards? Maybe it depends upon who did the restoration and the reputation the shop has earned over the years.
