Yes, but it's sure to fix problems that don't exist.

I don't see anything in the the additive's "description" that suggest that it addresses the two primary problems with ethanol laden gasoline. Where in following claimed "benefits" is one that addresses the primary issues, ie, absorption of water (leading to corrosion) and the apparent increase in fuel vaporization we see in fuel injected cars?

      ""

I suppose it may do what it says, (I've never tried it) but, I think you'd be hard pressed to infer from those "benefits" that it solves our problems.

If it does address those problems, its odd that they left that such a significant fact out of the the "Benefits" list

Using it probably doesn't hurt anything (?) but lacking any definitive evidence or verified claims that it solves our problems, I'd suggest that you need to look elsewhere for a solution to the primary issues.

The MAC Chapter had a tech session this Spring on ethanol fuel. They put 9 parts of ethanol fuel in a small paint mixing type container and added 1 part water. After shaking the container, there were now 8 parts fuel and 2 parts water. The 1 part of added water pulled another 1 part of water from the ethanol fuel.
They tried adding most all of the name brand products to the mix that are supposed to correct the problems with ethanol fuels with NO success.
I had to replace the entire fuel system on a 1966 coupe a few years ago. The tank, fuel sender, line from tank to fuel pump, pump, and sent the carb to Bob Kunz after letting it sit for a couple of years with ethanol fuel in the tank.
I have now make a trip of about 30 miles to buy non ethanol gas in 3 five gallon fuel jugs and mix in about 4 or 5 gallons Cam 2.

          Page,
unless you want to go through that fuel system, again, don't let it sit with any kind of fuel for a few years. In my opinion, you'll end up with the same results. Sitting for that long is the worst thing you can do for these cars.

I have been reading two posts here on ethanol. Last Sunday our Pittsburgh chapter had a judging school and also a seminar on Ethanol aka Ethyl alcohol.
Yours truely conducted the seminar. Was titled "The Evils of Ethanol". A few members asked which products I recommended to cure the evils of ethanol so to speak. I told them I did not know that answer. Told them to do research of a specific product before being taken in on it.

In restoring FI units I have been seeing an alarming number of high pressure pumps that are extremely rusty. This pumps are coming out of previously restored FI units.
You discussed above what the issue is. The water separates from the fuel especially when the car sits. Hence it's all down hill after that.
We bought anew leaf blower this summer. The directions said not to use any ethanol fuel that is older than 3 months.
My vendor trailer is going into storage at 1PM today. Guess what is in the generator? Bet your life it ain't ethanol. It's filled with 100LL. When Spring Carlisle comes around I feel confident the old Honda generator will fire right up. Must be true as I have been doing this method on the same generator since 1997.
