78 power window problem

I just finished installing new window inner, outer seals and felts and anti rattle cushions. Prior to the new parts being installed both power windows operated normally - although they rattled a lot due to old worn out parts. Now the system is so tight that I need to pull up the windows to assist the motor in closing. Clearly things are now to tight for the motors. Is there some adjustment I can to do? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dan, it maybe possible that you have the anti rattle cushions up to tight against the window and are putting to much strain on the regulator when going up or down,you may have to play with adjustment to get a happy medium, those window were never tight grom the factory and there were meet to be some play when the windows were up or even slightly down.
