    C3 #4 body mount

72 coupe - Bolt and cage nut on my number 4 mounts are rusted. Cage nut turns in the cage. A bear to get to. What is the best way to get the bolt out? I can buy a new cage and nut when I go back. Installing the riveted cage looks almost impossible.
    Thanks,
    Jay

John, mine were the same...I burned off the bolt from the bottom (outside the car) The cage disintregated and I pulled the rest through the inside.
Instead of putting a new cage nut in, I chose to put a nut, split lockwasher and a fender washer in.
Bolt in from the bottom and it looks original. Once interiors in its covered.

If you take the cage off,you can put a socket on the square nut.I forget which size works.Good luck.
