The 'Sound of Freedom' if not a UH-60 Blackhawk, then it must be a Corvette!

Well in my collection I don't have an early 67 date. I might have had one a while back but I think it went to an NCRS member.
Hard date to find especially a 67 late date.
Funny thing is I started to collect fan clutches about 20 years ago for my 69 435hp car which is long gone and I haven't stopped collecting....I think I better stop.

          Bill:

Close reproductions are available for reasonable cost. Paragon and others sell them. Check the archives for the recommended GM/AC/Eaton part numbers....or trust Paragon to provide. The reproductions usually judge well, with maybe a few point max deduction.....plus they are new and function as new.

You can also make Grant an offer ($$$) he can't refuse.

The Eaton coil clutch used ink stamped codes, so you can make up a stamp if you desire.

The DRIVELINE also lists a few rebuilders of these units.....you could call them and see if one is available for sale. They usually are. I know, as I bought one from Fred Oliva (early rebuilder) for my 1967 car about ten years ago. I think Fred still does this work, but generally has a LONG backlog and wait time.

Hello Grant,....I am researching the Schwitzer fan clutch date code format, so I will appreciate your input. Tell me, is the date code format stamped on the Schwitzer fan clutch mounting flange, SC dd.mm.yy, or is the SC after the date......Thank you for your input.....Chet
