    1994 Automatic Transmission Leak

I need to research getting the automatic transmission rebuilt for my 1994 Corvette. The Chevy Dealer in Dallas suggested buying a completely refurbished GMC transmission for 1700.00. Labor 585.00, but I want to keep the original transmission so the numbers match. I had the seals, bushing, pump and converter replaced 17,000 miles ago due to severe leaking. Now the tranny is leaking agian. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks, Brad

    Welcome aboard Brad !

Are you trying to stop a slight drip or a severe leak ??

I would have a different dealer or transmission shop look at the unit and determine the cause of the leak before replacing the unit.

Is the speed senor o ring easy to get to? It is in the shop now. They said it looks like it is leaking from the pump area.
