    Wonderful stories. You can never read too much history. Sadly, I am sure a lot of interesting C-1 and C-2 history is lost forever.

        The current Spring 2012 edition of Motor Trend Classic magazine has a very good article and pictures of the Pontiac Banshee: "Flight of the Banshee - The Pontiac that Could Have Killed Corvette"

        Great story, there must have been some very interesting meetings at GM discussing Banshee vs Stingray ...
